Co metal vs Co sulphate

One thing should be corrected for DYOR.

Cobalt metal price vs Cobalt sulphate price.



Sorry to say this but @Newbie2015 ,


Cobalt metal price $60,000/ton and Cobalt sulphate price $13,700/ton

Sconi output (PFS)
3,000 tonnes of  Co sulphate x $13,700 = $41M

24,000 tonnes of Ni sulphate × $2,300 (1/6 of Co sulphate price) = $55.2M


Cobalt metal is not Cobalt sulphate
Nickel metal is not Nickel sulphate

Totally different price.

AUZ is going to produce Co, Ni sulphate NOT Co, Ni metal.

Also CLQ has much bigger Co and Ni metal resources than AUZ

In order to beat CLQ Mcap, AUZ must show the market comparable size of Co and Ni metal resources. (Flemington has good potential but takes some time& money to prove it or Sconi expansion)

Should do more research please.
