I agree with your points. However I need to clarify some points to help holders have a positive looking at Cosulphate (produced by AUZ).
According to my knowledge abt chemistry, I try to do my best.
For CLQ:
1 mole of Co metal has ~58gram Cobalt.
17 mole Co ~ 1kg of Cobalt .
In short, to make 1kg of pure Co CLQ need 1kg of pure Co.

For AUZ:
Normally CoSO4 contains some H2O in, but I consider AUZ will produce CoSO4 without water.
1 mole of CoSO4 ~ 1 mole Co (58g Co) ~ 154gram CoSO4.
1kg CoSO4 will has only 6.5mole CoSO4 ~ need 6.5mole pure Co ~6.5 x 58=0.377kg of Pure Co.
In short, to make 1 kg of Cobalt Sulphate. AUZ only need 0.377kg of Pure Co.

CLQ vs AUZ
1 kg Co neeed 1kg Co ($60,000) vs 1kg CoSO4 ($13,700) need only 0.377kg Co.

CLQ need more chemiscal reactions to purify Co from raw materials. AUZ don't need, just need much acid Sulphuric.
So CLQ spend more money and time on their techniques and need to be certified for their procedures. AUZ no need.

According to PFS of Syerston and Sconi, they almost have the same rate of Co (around 0.11%, I can't remember exactly). With the calculation above, AUZ can make triple CLQ's production of Co.
