I am sure you guys have read some of the information posted by PA already.

Here is my explanation of the Co-X-Gene Technology Platform in layman terms..

(1) Scientific Explanation:
The Co-X-Gene platform is ability to simultaneously deliver two genes inside a human cell to stimulate, and to harness the power of the body's own immune system to fight off a specific disease (virus infection).

The first gene (Antigens) directs your immune system to target a particular disease (HIV or HEP, etc) while the second gene (cytokines) regulate a specific response strength from your immune system to fight off the virus invasion.

There are two broad groups of cytokines: The first group (gamma interferon) promotes cellular immunity to stop virus infiltration of healthy cells; The second group promotes antibodies production, such as killer T-cells which are seeking out and destroy (enemy bunkers) cells in the body that are infected with virus, and other antibodies to fight virus invasion, such as ambushing, isolating and destroy moving virus (mobile infantry).

Virax's Co-X-Gene Technology Platform can be considered as a Multi Warheads Defensive Missile System, with built-in Early Warning, Enemy Identification & Targeting System. I am sure you guys can understand that much right, hihi!

Ok, lets move on, now, to fight a specific enemy invasion (disease virus), you need select your war heads, payloads and seek out your enemy type and targets, mobilise your troops (you immune system) for self-defense, and then counter attack and drive out the invaders using your (Antibodies) cluster bombs, teargas grenades ,(T cells) antitank missiles or bunker busters, hihi ;0).

As for Virax wonder therapeutic vaccine VIR201, your payloads would be, HIV antigens (your enemy signature for warning, identification and targeting), and those specific Cytokines (anti HIV armament and firepower support) for your troops to fight off the invasion. Of course, with the current trial in South Africa using VIR201 with 10 times the payloads of the latest tech warheads and firepower, much better than those that used for Phase 1 & 2a trials in Australia during 2003-2004.
