One thing I'm quite confident about is that AEB won't rise significantly and almost certainly not more than briefly without absolute confirmation of its incredible claims of producing algae oil at half the price of crude (their claim was half price, varying with the price of crude, which is not far short of miraculous and something I can't in any way conceptualise, even hypothetically, unless the cost of production was entirely crude oil itself, which of course makes no sense).
They can sign up a deal with such and such a company or make such and such claims or promises, but as in all cases until now it will either do nothing or cause a temporary blip before the price resumes its downward trend.
If it does confirm the incredible claims, AEB should shoot far beyond 50c. However, if the claims are genuine it begs the question of why things are taking so long to progress. If I claimed to have invented a way to turn clay into gold it would be easy to say "Well, if your claim is genuine you're going to become phenomenally wealthy, but I'm not going to be convinced until you actually start doing it. Show me proof"
The longer the delay in showing that proof, the more doubt that will grow, especially when they don't meet their own promised timeframes or offer an explanation as to why. If I said "Hey, sure, I've been doing it in my kitchen with basic tools, I'll show you my clay to gold method next week" and I fail to show up, surely you'd be sceptical, especially if I didn't offer an excuse as to why I didn't turn up to my own demonstration.
Show me proof. Turn a profit. Show me the SGS results. Make some oil.
