I guess that idealistic notions are great but we have to be real
We have had:
-hybrids
-electric plug-ins
-hydrogen celled vehicles
-LPG etc
But in the foreseeable future the bulk of our vehicles are likely to be conventional engined units with a slight migration from petrol to diesel.
The issue here is what is the best system of vehicle registration to encourage a better overall economic and environmental result for Australia and all Australians. I'm not suggesting the banning of hoons with big cubes; just charging them a bit more for their pleasures. Fair enough..eh?
