If you are discounting cardon credits that could be derived from sequestering CO2, you could be missing a significant revenue stream. MPO is in south Afirca and have indicated that the capture of methane that is presently escaping freely can result in cardon credits and associated revenue equal to the value of the gas sold.
So even in the pumping of the CO2 into the resivourto flood the oil, while not producing revenue from oil could generate revenue from CO2 sequestration.
