Why would the Rocky Bulletin embarrass the crap out of themselves by printing that dribble? The story has not even one mention of the contribution to atmospheric CO2 by coal fired power stations, which presumably is the subject matter being dubiously distorted by nonsensical conjecture.

"According to the 'believers' the CO2 in air has risen from .034% to .038% in air over the last 50 years."

Not even the so called scientific "skeptics" dispute the rise in atmospheric CO2. Their point of contention is the source of the additional CO2, but their argument is on thin-ice due to C isotope work.

"They (coal fired power stations) can generate power at efficiency of less than 10,000 b.t.u. per kilowatt"

    FYI - 1kw = 3400 Btu(th)/hr, so yeah, you'd want it to be less than 10000..

    Credibility of author - 0%, Rocky Bulletin letters editor's credibility - 0%, science content - 0%, relevance - 0%, erroneous waffle >90%.
