Rancher Energy Corp. Updates Investors on Letter of Intent with Prospective Development Partners


DENVER, Colorado --Rancher Energy Corp. (OTCBB: RNCH) today provided an update regarding the April 2008 letter of intent it signed with two prospective development partners regarding Rancher Energy’s three fields in the Powder River Basin. The letter of intent provided that if the parties have not entered into a definitive agreement by June 30, 2008, either party may terminate the letter of intent upon 10 days notice. The Company has received notice from the two prospective development partners advising the Company of their termination of the letter of intent effective September 20, 2008.
