If Rancher cannot take the CO2 then a scenario may arise when the producer, EXXON ?, may have to sequester the CO2 if it wants to continue gas production.

Would any local company, other than Elk, be in a better position to take this?

If so then Elk could sequester for 2 years until oil price recovery, and then start producing.
