"Slicing and dicing" has not been found out. And you've provided no evidence that is the case.
Your most powerful advocate for investigating issues with the BoM temperature record failed to do so when he was your Prime Minister, and no subsequent conservative Australian government has established any inquired into this. The reason I put to you that they have not is that they know that any inquiry they undertook would contradict their views. Otherwise, given their outspoken views on this, why would they let that go.
There are no limits placed on the temperature readings. That is false. They set flags at levels considered to be extremely high or low as part of their process to identify possible instrument or other problems with the readings. Those cases are investigated and included in the record depending on the findings of their review. Which I believe takes a month or so in most cases.
