Because on another documentary he pointed out how the Great Barrier Reef was formed during a period of rising sea levels. In fact North Queensland aboriginal song lore was featured in that they detailed how they had to move 3 kms inland from where they used to live as the sea level rose.

So people.... and David.... The Great Barrier Reef would not exist at all without the very thing fear mongerers are claiming we should panic over.

There's no scientist suggesting panic.

They do suggest we deal with what is now becoming an emergency with greater urgency.

And, by the way, warming and more acidic oceans are the threat to the Great Barrier Reef.
