Fall 2018 in Texas brought massive amounts of rainfall across Texas.
There was so much downpour, it broke the state's record for the wettest two-month period on record going back to 1895.
September and October each individually set a new record for the amount of precipitation during the respective months.
I would point out at this point that the record only goes to 1895 - no Texas records exist for the period in the solar cycle prior to the Maunder minimum for comparison say.
If any of the rainfall is attributed to the chance wandering of hurricanes and the subsequent storm decay tracks then it is purely pot luck unless the record is for the broader south and south eastern USA region?
How long till this new record is broken in texas? Surely in this warming wetter world it may only stand for a short time of a year or two? What does the model say hehe?
