I understand and agree with your points. But that’s not what we’ve been told ad nauseam for the last twenty years. No more snow. No more rain. Nor does it tie in with IPCC 5. They are forecasting a decrease in cold temperature extremes. But here we have cold temperature extremes outside the norm. A big dump in January would fit, but a record breaking dump so early is an additional CTE.

And record low temps at Albany are another CTE outside the range. Surely the events should be contracting rather than expanding?
