    Thanks forthe comment. To be honest I dont know my weather. I follow weather and have a inkling on what is going to happen in my neck of the woods from being here my all my life.

    You raise a good point.

    I have experienced good rain seasons during El nino's and La ninas and poor rain seasons during La Ninas and El Ninos. And to be honest I cannot answer that with regards to Darwin. Personally I feel the Indian Ocean has a big impact on Darwin.

    And without doubt the Madden Julian Osciallation is also a big player in this.

    I note from last year as well. Whilst not a nino or a nina year that the Antarctic Oscillation played a MAJOR role in WIND and Drying out patterns over Australia. I wish I could offer something but I cannot refer you to anyone as they to have NFI.

    Yes from my perspective the season has been pretty wet. Vey low temps and almost going on two months with no aircon at night now
    That REPRESENTS a pretty EXTREME EVENT. But you want get the ABC reporting stuff like that
