there is only one aim in that pathetic endeavour and that is to attempt to create doubt about the massive amount of science underpinning AGW and climate change. To give them their due, they’re initially successful in trying to polish that turd, but boy, does it get grubby quickly.

the lack of personal integrity sticks out like canine’s testes, while their dishonest dealings with all climate science IP is actually insulting, not that they care because they’re warriors - cannon fodder for those plucky billionaires and fossil fuel company owners.
