Agreed, this is a good summary - trend is important not individual records!
Weather is not climate but climate is a trend of weather. Trend reversals do happen so out of trend events are interesting for that reason.
As an investor when you think you understand the price drivers and don't expect reversal because you are unaware of the sensitivity to all of the variables that contribute to the share price on an individual stock......it happens.
