CoA rejected SMM bid to have their old licence from 2010 reinstated.
They have no licence over this deposit and are NOT currently free to apply for one
can someone please explain how this is a win for SMM?
AVQ is free to reapply and already has done so!!
So what's stopping SMM from doing the same??
Oh I get it they'll have to lobby the government to change the rules or sweat over relinquishing one of their other three licenses. ( Three licenses being the maximum they can sit on in the Solomons)
So Sumitomo what is it going to be?
change the rules? but there's no honour in that is there?
drop one of your other nest eggs? Will need to call a big pow wow for that one and come up with a feasibility study re potentially least profitable holdings and in the meantime the bird may have flown the roost. Can't see any board agreeing to that one with current nickel prices.
Offer 25% to landowners? wow that will set an almighty precedent for you right across all your other holdings.
I think they need a sacrificial lamb. Get rid of the team that stuffed this up for them?
End of the day they have NOT got your licence back and you are NOT currently free to reapply!!
