Agreed.
The biggest question for the coal industry is what to do with all the cash generated within the next decade. WHC will have over a billion, NHC will also. And that's not even looking at the Peabody, etc etc.
Will any government allow new thermal leases ?
Will there be massive share buybacks (NHC has $500m ITC's available) as part of capital management ?
Will there be mergers ?
What thermal acquisitions are available ?
What "associated" industry acquisitions are available (metalurgical, haulage, ports) ?
Will any diversify away from coal into other energy sources ?
