I think we can safely say that nuclear and coal are not clean energy sources.

And I obviously DO NOT support nuclear energy, however;

If I only wear my middle-class, green, clean and renewable bourgeoisie hat ? then I could bang on and talk about ?other? energy solutions like geothermal, wind, solar etc

But as I support emerging economies in their need for economic empowerment, it is coal that gives them cheap power and a valuable resource to sell.

We have had our day in the sun and when we come up with a cheap, clean, energy source that can be made available to all then I may be less supportive in the need for coal.

Maybe we should all turn of our computers, put our i-phones down, stop the automotive production lines and go back to pidgeons and ponies, and arts and crafts.
