    these article are a laugh;
    from the article;
    "China's coal imports grew by 17 percent in the first 10 months of the year"

    they are acting all bearish and anti coal but if you read between the lines China is on track to import 340mt, an additional 50mt this year on top of last years imports of 290mt.

    the big issue that china has that would benefit Australian coalers is a lack of water, as well as mine depletion on current mines. That smog is just ridiculous but I really cant see china slowing down their appetite for coal;

    China's Electricity consumption per capita is still one of the lowest in the world;

    would you believe that residential use of coal power electricity is only 300mtpa in china or 1/5 of westerners usage and the rest is for industrial usage to feed their urbanisation and industrialisation agenda - the whole world will implode if china slows down their expansion.
