Yes, it is the lousy useless far/ultra/extreme lefties that are the cause. They have made it almost impossible for finance to be raised for coal-fired power in this richly endowed country while hundreds are in the pipeline overseas.

Yes because Chindia, Japan, etc will tell these far/ultra/extreme lefties where they can go and precisely what they can do with themselves.
One suggestion I have made which may overcome this difficulty is for the Guvnuts to provide a guarantee for massive compensation against future interference by a lefty Guvnut, sufficient to stop them dead in their tracks, from introducing emissions trading schemes, regulations, etc!!
