Kid, so I guess you understand the difference between the by-products of coal gas in coke-making and the coal seam mathane (CSM).

But for exploration and mining, CBM and coal are in two different license areas. Whoever own coal exploration/mining license does not automatically own the CBM license, or vice versa.

And in general, coal seams suitable for coal mining does not contain much CBM because of not enough depth, etc.
