World energy mix 2017: Coal 29.9%, Petroleum products 29.3%, Natural gas 20.7%, Non-hydro renewables 11.7%, Nuclear 5.9%, Hydro 2.5%.
NB. That's all energy, not just electricity generation.
And at some point, governments will run out of taxpayers' money for subsidising renewables . I don't think there's much doubt about coal producers (incl SMR of course) having a strong market for years to come.
