Tell that to the family of the crane operator who was killed. I hope you are correct about the radiation being contained. They do say it is a light water reactor which is safer then Chernobyl but it is an old first generation type.
Fingers crossed that they have it under control.
I am against nuclear power because however unlikely the potential of meltdown is there and as more counties develop this technology you see it being dual used for developing nuclear weapons programs.
