Just doing some reading and research on what shares will benefit from future trends. I don't think we can escape the fact that electric cars are coming and will very, very soon be commonplace. I can't believe how many Prius vehicles are on the road atm! And now every research dollar of the car companies is being thrown behind electic... they will soon be viewed as dinasours!

Think about this... how many households have one car for transport to and from work, and could do it in an electric vehicle with a 250km before recharge electric car easily? We WILL need greater and greater electricity generation to fuel this amazing and inevitable change. And in Aus elec prices are already going up and up.

The trend will be westernworldwide and the need for coal for industrial purposes will not decline either... think Chindia. Peter Huber says "But China is adding 100 gigawatts of coal-fired electrical capacity a year. That's another whole United States' worth of coal consumption added every three years, with no stopping point in sight. Much of the rest of the developing world is on a similar path." Why would China want Felix... do they need coal or do they need coal???

(Nuclear is a little futher over the horizon, but not far away)

So this little coal tenement that NGF has should not be seen as a sideshow of little worth. The directors and md have big time experience in coal (Felix Resources)and they are well connected and global thinkers. Me thinks coal will only increase in value in the near, medium and long term... and I think the NGF team will not let the opportunity slip to maximise the potential of what they have. So with all the focus on gold, don't forget the coal... could it could be worth the current share price... 21c per share... sooner than we think?

Not sure what the share price is doing short term, but I'm still pretty confident holding for the long term.

    your amateur analyst, rennies.
