Average predicted 2018 coal price $79.60. The most bullish forecast $92.50; meanwhile, Most bearish $70. But I thought it a very unconvincing simplistic report. Frankly I think it could end up way outside that range, either way. I don't think anyone knows how supply will go, and demand is highly volatile because of the greenies' war on coal. I think the gfeenies efforts will collapse but not necessarily before the end of 2018. I think China and many other coubtries will expand their coal usage, so the global coal usage decline will slow or stop, because economics. I think the price will rocket if China continue to slow local production, or mini.collapse if China goes back to full steam ahead production. Interesting times.
