Interesting article in The Australian newspaper today about coal consolidation. I can't post the article I'm sorry, but the gist was focused around Whitehaven and New Hope whereby they could merge. How likely, not sure. but certainly if we all believe that coal prices will turn maybe get the merger out of the way now, bed down some synergies before the rise.
