two things on that article
1) esi is measured vs thermal coal (power stations), not coking coal (thermal coal is expected to double as opposed to tripling of coking coal... i'll take that)
2) wrt to coking coal, the matmor process would bypass this stage and can produce steel in one step
esi is going to take off, just need some new directors, financial backing... MOUs wouldn't be too far behing
