Could be a good idea. A lot of the larger miners are under pressure to divest coal from activist investors to meet ESG requirements.
I believe there could be some real bargains because they are, effectively, forced sales.
I think Anglos recent spin off of their SA coal arm into Thungela is an example of a good deal for the buyers.
