As u'll notice on the maps in the above document, the coal resource in the Pedirka basin hasn't been drawn yet.

All the dozen odd wells drilled pre-Blamore#1 had encountered thin coalseams, since the focus was on conventional O&G finds.

Everyone knew about the Brown coal in VIC/SA & black coal deposits on the West coast & East coast. About time CTP's deposit were noticed, which is the norm, i.e every discovery gets reported to the NT Dept of Mines & then it comes down to pure Business Development/ roadshows/ marketing etc.
