There are many videos on Chernobyl - one from an unlikely series dated 2019 from Chris Tarrant titled 'Extreme Railways'. The episode is titled 'A railway too far' in which there is a segment on Chernobyl. From the segment it is claimed that there are 2300 people still working at Chernobyl to 'clean up' and that thus far the accident cost over $700billion. The authorities were forced to go public only after a couple of days and only after higher radiation levels were detected hundreds of miles way as far as Sweden.

There is a dedicated plant where the nuclear reactor waste is taken to to be chopped up (processed) and ultimately the bits, while still radioactive end up stored in huge areas of steel containers. Obviously there are waste disposal issues that ultimately will be ongoing issues for a heck of a long time and in monetary terms alone will keep costing - not to mention the dangers of ongoing radioactivity. Despite all the issues at Chernobyl (and more recently Fukushima), there are those who still insist on how safe, cheap and good these power plants are.

In the segment reference is made to how the air seems clean, there's no smell etc. It is foolish to think or to believe that nuclear is so safe, as lurking behind the scenes are dangers far greater than any impact a coal fired power plant presents. Remember how all were asked to use hand sanitiser for the last 2 years or so - my hands were clean prior - or were they?? No smoke hence clean is a con that many are so willing to get sucked in whilst thousands have or may have their life sucked out.

Chernobyl - accident cost quoted so far is over $700bill - does not include immediate human deaths, suffering and further ultimate deaths as a result. Then some from Fukushima. The monetary costs alone so far are huge with a lot more to come plus all the further costs associated with Fukushima.

And what of further environmental damage? And what of the nuclear waste from all other working or mothballed nuclear plants and the possibility/probability of further nuclear accidents or possible attacks on such facilities. By all means, go nuclear - it may just be another way to achieve the greatest reset.

To combat CO2 emissions plant more trees. To combat nuclear radioactivity tree planting is futile. To combat stupidity is an entirely different matter. AIMO
