Cheers for the information guys. I"m struggling to enter a markets based role, so i'm focusing on improving myself on every front. Eg. I got to the final round of nabCapital/wholesale banking, which was the last 25 standing out of 900 pre-screened applicants. They took 12 people. Sadly i didn't make it, but the competition is insane out there. Grads with biomed eng / finance double degrees, or an honours degree in maths + a degree with a mandarin major. Hectic.
But currently progressing with a middle office role for macbank, so i'm planning on moving up from there.
All i can say is cheers for the advice, and best of luck to the rest of the fin grads out there.
