As long as they work in concert with the traditional owners they'll be able to achieve a good outcome. A combination of CSM and coal mining seems entirely possible to me. There was a historic mine there already so at least part of the area has already been mined and isn't in its original state. Well run companies are very good these days at win-win outcomes rather than just trashing the place. A draft land use agreement demonstrates that they have won the trust of the traditional owners, all they need to do is keep this going as they move forward.
