    lookcarefully - the top 5 have about 33% of the shares of COK - of this 8% belongs to Cockatoo Coal Management who have been in this business for long enough to realise that if the price is right - a takeover could go through.

    It all comes down to the price being right.

    In the top 20 - i can only see Posco (9.1%) and Kepco (5.7%) having an agenda of their own - i.e. future supplies.

    For the rest a takeover could be a huge capital gain at the moment - which is one of the main reasons why takeovers are mostly successful.

    I am by no means saying COK will definately get taken over - but in the Coal war (a.k.a securing future supply for asia) COK is definately a prime target. This has also made some mainstream news lately.
