On the front page of the age there is an article, basically saying that Dutch Shell and Anglo America are making coal to diesel technology their top global research priority. It looks as if they want to use their quarry coal and transport it to a processing plant where it would be processed to gas and diesel.They hope to pump the co2 from this process underground, they say this is expensive to carry out and may fail. Pce have the co2 issue sorted and going by the article this seems the hardest part of the process.
