They are to be fed by such black coal imports as Adani. ECT has looked to apply Coldry to drying the domestic lignite. Yes they will use heaps of coal into the future. They are building super and ultrasupercritical HELE coal stations. The planet is awash with cheap high quality black export coal from existing operating mines. But you never know, coldry could possibly apply to retrofit their lignite stations. But it’s up against integrated steam drying like the Germans developed and used for their lignite stations. SFBD integrates direct to the lignite powerstations. Not saying Coldry can’t work and doesn’t have a chance but the headwinds are powerful.
