Do you mean that scientists like Tim Flannery should always be believed and never questioned or fact checked to see if their forecasts are correct or should they just be able to make future statements and then just update them when they are wrong? The former chief scientist of Australia must be the most credible of the scientists.
This is his most famous quote.
“even the rain that falls isn’t actually going to fill our dams and river systems”.
It hasn't aged very well but according to the 'science' worshippers it shouldn't be questioned or revisited.
