BRL has continued with the train program that SEI had in place. This is approx a million tonnes p.a. This is 5 trains a day for 5 days a week more or less. At their peak SEI were railing 2.8 m t p.a. Kiwirail were running 7 trains a day 7 days a week.
So there is a lot of potential growth for BRL sitting there.
There is limited stockpile space available at the mine or the Port, so the rail operation is critical to BRLs success.
