One of WPGs main projects is upgrading the quality of their large coal resource. They have employed the former staff of Evergreen Energy that is now in liquidation and will be bidders for the assets of Evergreen. I thought previously that Evergreen had new whiz bang technology but the article in post above makes clear there are a lot of other ways to upgrade coal quality and evidently Victoria is doing some study to select the preferred method to upgrade low quality coal.
