I posted this quite some time ago but don’t have too much time to comment on it right now, so just a few quick notes:
The key on the side is the sqkm acreage and corresponding colour for the coal thickness as delineated on the X axis. The Y axis the tonnage. These calculations were based on a bituminous coal type (not anthracite or lignite etc for obvious reasons)
Now you would find that the coals in this package have a relatively higher calorific value in comparison to other Australian CBM producers which is by far an advantage. The coals in the Pedirka correlate with that of the Ipswich basin which are known to be some of the most volatile in the country.
