Plenty of independent experts are saying it's better. eg Graeme Samuel former ACCC boss is a convert. What critics are overlooking is that the coalition plan is supplying fibre to the premises for commercial and residential where it's cost effective and in future fibre from the node to the home can be installed if there's a need. But in 20 years it will all be wireless imo.
