It's my view that the Coalition could not have offended China more if that had been its explicit policy and cunning plan:
. Doing nothing to address what China claims has been the THEFT of $1.3Trillion in Chinese wealth laundered via countries including Australia and our steadfast failure to responded to requests for supportive action to recover those funds.
. The constant denigration of the Chinese for investing in Australia's property market.
. Aggressively sailing our warships through Chinese territorial waters in defiance of China's claims.
. Banning Huawei from participating in the delivery of 5G services into Australia after accusing them of subversive activities [unproven].
. Blaming China for weaknesses in our NBN services when the real problem is the third world standard service the Coalition reduced the NBN to.
. Blaming the Chinese for attempted hacking of technology services when the real problem is just how antiquated and useless our government's computer software really is and just how limited technological expertise is now due to Coalition $Cuts-$Cuts-$Cuts.
Sadly, there's more; indeed MUCH more to the damage that Scott Morrison's inept and toxic government has already done to our relations with our most important trading partner and NO sign that anyone within Coalition ranks has a clue how to fix the MESS they've created.
