It looks like the coalition government are going to pour more public money into another coal power station yet again just to try and keep it afloat (Liddell). Hazelwood was closed by Energia because it was running at a loss. call fired power stations cannot compete with renewable energy and should be supported by this poor government not lambasted! Affordable reliable energy is the mantra of the coalition government what they are saying is we will support power stations and will pour money into them to keep them going forward because our government is propped up by oil and coal industry lol. Another ridiculous mantra by them is 'we need reliable power when the wind doesn't blow in the sun doesn't shine' , they fail to mention all the energy storage systems we have out there batteries included which makes coal fired power stations completely redundant this COALition government is making the nation sick
