Pensioners did not protest during Howards reign billy because they knew it would be a waste of time. They expected better of Rudd though and I also think Rudd will deliver rises even if not until the next election is closer. Labor have made it clear that any pension increase has to flow to all pensioners not just one particular group as the Liberals bill is seeking. Anyway from reading the news all pensioner groups have rejected the Liberal proposal for that very reason. Liberals must think people are idiots. Dave R.
