every so now and then , and totally randomly, watso tunes into a perth radio station and some commentator is crapping on about battery powered planes for flights to Rottnest.. watso is not sure if there is a plane already in service, or maybe intended to be in service or just an idea .
anyway the return flight from Jandakot airport to Rottnest would have to be about 50km (60km at most) … mmm qantas have started a direct flight from perth to London ...
ok fair enough, it seems that trains are already using energy stored in batteries .. so the revolution has already started …. mmm watso's cheap toy train set used batteries - but the friend across the street he had the full works - an electric train set - powered from the grid (coal) with transformer etc etc
