the Labs haven't increased taxes though nursery..... its wages rising that has caused more people to cross over to the next tax bracket.

taxation should be raised as an election issue. its over 10 years since the Ken Henry review. time for another one.

one thing I'd like to see is the tax brackets adjust annually so that theres less tax increase due to rising wages.

but a surplus can't be produced easily. it takes discipline.

if it was easy surely the LNP govts could have produced a surplus in line with their promises.
