    I doubt that Labor and the Greens would ever enter into a formal coalition. The LNP provides a great case study as to why coalitions do not necessarily benefit partners equally.

    This contention was explored very well in a recent three-part doco on the ABC titled "A Country Road: The Nationals". It explored the rise and subsequent fall of the Nat's influence and identity across the political landscape and drew on wide and varying political perspectives to explain this. I definitely think it is well worth the watch (even for those who are not Nat supporters).

    However, if the hypothetical is no coalition's, you would possibly see more examples of minority governments being formed in Australia.
