I would go one step further and subject all politicians to an IQ test. This would require them to have an IQ at least ten points above the population average. This would eliminate many politicians including about a third of the Senate.
After all, why should we elect people that are dumber than we are ?
While we are at it we should not allow people from SA and TAS to vote. People from these states simply do not have the intellect to make such important decisions, even if they had intelligent politicians.
