Some people have very closed minds and yet are ready to jump in and declare they know it all......especially the negatives! .I know little and would like to see the evidence of Duttons ideas first before rejecting him as a fool without any useful ideas. Maybe consider a small plant in a remote area like Kalgoorlie to support mining processing which needs huge power supplies and develop industries around it like battery production, manufacturing which need clean energy supplies. The costs of nuclear compared to solar and wind power could be established using project management to reach an evidenced based decision about which way to go. I remember as a child being told Australia should not export iron ore as it was an essential resource for our defence and industrial needs. That argument took many years to be overcome. What are the outcomes in 50 years for power supplies that are best being thought about today?
