Interesting way of lookin at it by you osr , I am guessing the battery costs around US10K for an EV based on the extra cost of say a toyota EV rav4 over an ICE rav4 .
If the EV would do twice the distance with the coating , so a half sized battery is only needed then that is a saving of 10k /2 = $ 5000 at a cost of $83 and no extra 1/2 a battery dead weight to carry around
All conjecture of course , but Iggy may be on to something
